Element 79 Partners

Operator-led strategic execution at key stages of revenue growth.

Fractional advisory and consulting that is a force multiplier to C-suite and Boards during critical inflection points when revenue needs to scale the most.

About

Operators who execute on advice.

Element 79 Partners provides operator-led growth, GTM, and strategic execution support for companies navigating critical inflection points. Unlike traditional advisory firms, E79 pairs strategy with hands-on execution, like having an operating partner next to you at all times, helping leadership teams move quickly from diagnosis to action, and from plan to measurable business impact.

E79 works alongside Boards, CEOs, and founders to accelerate revenue, strengthen GTM execution, and build enterprise value, across venture-backed, private-equity-backed, and public-company environments.

What we do

Four ways we plug in and make an impact.

Deep, hands-on capability across the commercial and value-creation stack, brought to the specific inflection point in front of you, often after an initial fundraise, pre/post acquisition, or creation of new product lines.

Go-to-market architecture & revenue acceleration

Building the commercial engine that turns product and interest into repeatable revenue.

  • Positioning, pricing, and packaging
  • Sales-motion and pipeline design, from demand to close
  • Channel and strategic-partnership programs
  • Sales org, comp, and territory design

M&A, exit readiness & post-merger integration

Preparing the business for a transaction, then making sure value survives the deal.

  • Equity story and buyer narrative
  • Commercial due diligence and diligence readiness
  • Target screening and buyer engagement
  • Day-one integration, synergy tracking, and operating-model alignment

Fractional commercial leadership

Senior revenue leadership when there is a gap at the top of the commercial org, stepping in as President, CRO, or GM.

  • Fractional President, CRO, or GM owning the revenue number
  • Interim leadership through a transition or leadership gap
  • Coaching the team and hiring the commercial bench
  • Standing up a repeatable GTM motion and operating cadence

Value creation, growth strategy & Board / CEO advisory

Working with Boards, CEOs, and PE sponsors to shape the plan and drive it to the outcome.

  • Corporate, portfolio, and growth strategy
  • Market entry and expansion
  • Value-creation planning from inflection point to outcome
  • Board and executive communications

How we engage

Engagement model.

Each engagement is bespoke, with joint upfront scoping and a plan with KPIs. A usual scope of work includes a multi-month minimum engagement with retainer and options / shares for longer term involvement.

Founder Highlight

Jenn Chen is a C-level operator and commercial executive with more than 16 years scaling technology companies from ~$30M to $300M in revenue, across private equity, venture, and public structures. She founded Element 79 Partners to give Boards, CEOs, and founders what most advisors can't: strategic advisory and trusted counsel over multiple critical inflection moments in a company's life cycle, turning advice and planning into tangible actions and sustainable impact.

Most recently, as Chief Revenue Officer and President at JWX (previously Connatix / JW Player), Jenn grew the Connatix business 550% in five years, through a private-equity exit to Court Square Capital, then helped lead a merger-of-equals into the category-leading global video platform operating at Rule of 40. Earlier, she ran a $150M programmatic P&L as VP/GM of the Americas at Sizmek (acquired by Amazon and Zeta Global) and led go-to-market and strategic partnerships at AppNexus / Xandr (acquired by Microsoft).

She began her career in finance at Lehman Brothers and Neuberger Berman and was an early executive at Scoop St. (acquired by Gilt Groupe). Jenn is also co-founder, Board Member, and President of Givology, an all-volunteer education nonprofit micro-donation platform. She also sits on the Board of BABL and Cavai.
